Twitter Marketing Tricks - Making full use of twitter to promote yourself business

Twitter is a fast growing social networking tool and a microblogging service. Twitter enables you to send tiny little messages  or updates about nearly everything while using a maximum of 140 characters. You can send a tweet about what are you doing, what do you do, about your profession, about the work you do, about the movie you saw, about the football team you like, nearly about everything.
When marketing yourself or your business online, Twitter can prove to be the most important tool to help you in your marketing program. With over 200 million Twitter users, and 500,000 users signing up with Twitter daily, Twitter is a must for marketers. I have outlined some core tips for twitter marketing in order to promote your website or business. You can use the below tips to promote anything - your business, yourself or your website.
  1. Retailers, Ecommerce Stores: Tweet your deals and information about the coupons you are offering for those deals. Here is an example of a tweet, "@ABC Retail Store: 20% off any one item at our store throughout the weekend. Hurry and grab the latest Nike apparel, or Gucci handbags! 50% off all clearance!"
  2. Blog? Want more and more people to read your articles on your blog? Well you can market your articles by tweeting your article title with URL of the same. You can use URL shorter to get more space to write in your tweets.
  3. Business Opportunity Website: Tweet about your opportunity, i.e. "@SuccessWithJaneDoe: Where will you be 6 months from now? Stuck in a financial rut? Join my team and be on your way to success! [link to site]" If you create a special report on say, "Bringing free traffic on your websites" tweet a link to it!
Keep one thing in mind, don't write about the same thing again and again. Make sure you don't duplicate your tweets too much or to write just about your business all the time. This is because your followers will soon tire of your promotional tweets. Share your personal information in at least 20 percent of your tweets. This would increase the confidence of people in your tweets as they would see you as a person than a program.
